Looking for something fun to do with the family during the holiday season? Silver Bell Farm in Monson, Massachusetts offers fun, family intended activities for everyone. Ashley Jensen, 32 of Palmer, MA stated, “their number one priority is making families happy whether they are visiting with Santa or picking out their Christmas Tree.” There are many options for families to do at Silver Bell Farm. The entrance of the building enchants those young at heart with a fire pit to make s’mores. Families are then lured into the building by the smell of the treats baking in the café and the sound of Santa’s laughter.

In the 1960’s, the Moore family purchased the old farm land in hopes of creating a fun place for families. Family member; Mike Moore planted his first Christmas tree on an existing pasture in the land and decided to create a business out of it. In 2014, he established Silver Bell Farm and opened it to families to enhance their holidays. Families are able to purchase their very own real Christmas tree, visit with Santa Claus, travel the farm on a horse drawn hay ride and enjoy a tasty hot chocolate in the café.

“I come here now for my family Christmas Tree because they make us feel comfortable here. I can pay for my tree and take my kids to see Santa, all in the same place. Not a lot of places offer that” states Jensen who was there purchasing her tree once again from Silver Bell Farm. Christmas trees are not the only option there; in fact, people can follow the list of things to do at the farm. Items on that list include; making your own wreath, take a sleigh ride, make an ornament, decorate Christmas cookies and visit with Santa.

Whether you come for a hot chocolate, a visit with Santa or to just pick out a Christmas tree, no one will leave the farm disappointed. A visit to Silver Bell Farm can begin a new tradition for families and create memories kids will never forget.
